“Wings can be a healthy choice to accompany your slice with the help of additional protein in your meal,” says McDowell. “Just be skeptical of wings that are drowning in sugar filled sauces like BBQ or Teriyaki. Dry rubs, just like the cajun rub and lemon pepper rub, add a lot of flavor minus the added sugars and empty calories.”
